Blessed Journey is a group of adults that began gathering a few years ago to share, learn and help each other navigate the different phases of early adulthood, middle adulthood, late adulthood and the physical, emotional and spiritual changes we may come upon. Through guest speakers, podcasts, videos, short book studies, etc., we explore the different ways to plan, communicate, support each other to make this a Blessed Journey, for you, your family and friends.

You are invited to hear from Paul Markowitz, Founder of Senior Living Specialists. Paul and his team operate a free service throughout DFW to families to assist them with selecting the appropriate senior living option and property based on individual needs, personality, and financial situation. Senior Living Specialists advise clients not only on which options to look at, they also provide questions to ask, and the pitfalls to avoid. Paul will share the touching story about his 59-year-old mom, Betty and how he came to found his company. He will provide a high-level overview of the different senior living options available and the top 10 questions for families to ask when touring. Senior Living Specialists has been featured on ABC News, CBS News, FOX News, NBC News, D Magazine and the Dallas Morning News and they have featured stories on how his experience can help families through this stressful and tough process.
This seminar is free of cost and open to anyone interested – church member, larger community, children of aging parents OR family members – whoever needs information on resources for aging parents or relatives in the community. No preparation is required for this event.
