The Wednesday morning women's group is studying The Challenge of Jesus which examines the contrast between Roman imperial theology and Jesus’ revolutionary theology of lordship, deity and peace. The video/discussion series features renowned historical Jesus scholar John Dominic Crossan. Dr. Crossan believes that to understand Jesus you must begin with Jesus in his time and place, seeing his Jewish tradition and his world-transforming vision from that historical perspective.
