Small Groups

The Small Group experience at FUMC will provide you with a new, refreshing opportunity for spiritual growth. We encourage everyone in the church family to pursue a commitment to a small group, study, or class, so that all can be connected to the life of FUMC in a meaningful and productive way. Here's why we believe this commitment is so important:

  • Small groups are biblical
  • Small groups bring us together
  • Small groups help us experience the power of prayer
  • Small groups are places of support and encouragement
  • Small groups can be places to serve God together as a group
  • Small groups help us stay spiritually healthy and sharp between Sundays
  • Small groups help to keep Christians accountable

Typical groups have about 12 or fewer folks and meet either at the church or in group members' homes. Groups choose the time and place of their meetings, and those that meet at the church have childcare provided. Every group is unique, but in any group you can expect to experience a time of fellowship, sharing and caring, some Bible reading and study, and prayer with and for one another.
