Parent Volunteers

As our amazing church family continues to grow, so does our need for volunteers in the nursery.  Our nursery is staffed by the most loving team of caregivers who delight in watching your little ones grow, not only in stature, but also in their love for each other and a love for our church. Our goal  is to create an environment where your child can grow to know God and his unconditional, unfailing love in their lives; through our example. Parents of children from infant though Kindergarten, that use our nursery, are ask to help us meet this goal by giving their time, just a couple of times a year, to volunteer in our nursery.

Parent volunteers are asked to assist the nursery staff by rocking a baby, playing with, reading to, or comforting the children in our care.  You will not be asked to change diapers,  clean up messes, or do anything you are uncomfortable with.  We just want to make sure we have enough adult helpers in each room so that EVERY child is able to receive the attention they deserve.

To help us ensure the safety of each child in our care, we wish to follow the “Safe Sanctuary” policy of the  Texas Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.  This policy asks that anyone working with children or youth submit to a background check annually.  If you have not provided this information to us this year for another event (i.e., VBS, teaching Sunday School, etc.),please complete the form and bring to the nursery desk on Sunday morning or to the church office during office hours, attn:  Alan Heath.
