Recap of Day 1

Today started off with the best news ever. Instead of the normal, clankity, stinky bus, we ended up with a VIP Luxury Charter complete with flat screen Direct TV. It was awesome!

We watched Batman Begins, Nacho Libre, Star Wars III, and part of Pirates of the Caribbean pt. 2. The long daytime ride through West Texas was made pleasant by 85 degree sunshine in blue skies.

We are happy to be here, getting ready for work tomorrow. We just found out that the site for the new school is not ready, so we will be building our 3 houses from the ground up, including the foundation, then moving to a new church they are building in the neighborhood from last year.

Today, we are praying for John Jensen, Greg Sweet, Brian Sweet, Linsey Montogomery, Jeremy DeShan, Natalie Robinson and River Mills. They all wanted to come on this trip, but were unable. They are with us in spirit!
