Our children share the heart of Christ from their very own heart in Sunday school.
Each Sunday children gather from 9:45-10:45am to learn about the Bible. Sunday School is offered for children who are two years old by September 1, 2008 through 5th grade. Dedicated teachers assure that children are growing spiritually by providing lessons that are scripturally sound, emphasizing personal application to biblical principles.
Noah's Ark is our preschool area
Preschool children hear the Bible Story from Gospel Light curriculum, create a take home page, enjoy a snack together and participate in supervised group play during their Sunday School hour. Our dynamic parent teachers have such a passion for these little ones. Room assignments are: 2's Room E165 (Monkey), 3's Room E185 (Lion), and 4's Room E180 (Zebra).
Journeys with Jesus (Kindergarten - 2nd)
Each Sunday the children venture up the hall and meet at "The Landing". During the gathering time the children hear the monthly lesson, recite teh scripture verse, introduce visitors, and pray together before journeying to different stations to experience the Bible lesson. These stations that the children rotate to each week during the month allow the children to have a hands on experience as they learn the monthly Bible lesson. You can hear the laughter in the hallways as the children participate in such stations as games, science, cooking, art, storytelling or video. Our shepherds do a wonderful job directing the children each week.
Elementary
On any give Sunday you can see 3rd grade through 5th grade students making their way to their classroom with their Bible in hand and a smile on their face. These students meet with some dynamic teachers that not only share the scriptures with the children in a high energy class, but share daily life applications and of course donuts! We are so fortunate to have dads teaching in these classes. Rooms assignments are 3rd Grade Room E205, 4th Grade Room E225 and 5th Grade Room E215.
