Parent’s Night Out
The 3rd Friday of each month children (6 mos. to 10 years old) gather for a night with their friends. Parents drop the kids of at 6:00 and pick up is at 10:00. Children enjoy pizza, crafts, bounce house, games and movies. Cost is $30 for 1 child, $35 for 2 children, $40 for 3 children and $45 for 4 or more children.

All reservations must be made and paid for by noon on the Sunday prior to the Friday of Parent’s Night Out.  Also, all cancellations must be made by noon on the Sunday prior to the Friday of Parent’s Night Out in order to receive a refund. This ensures that we have an adequate number of childcare staff and supplies.

3rd Grade Bible Blasters
3rd Graders meet the first Wednesday of every other month after their Bible Retreat in September for fun, games, pizza, and a Bible lesson using the new Bibles they receive from First Methodist.

M & M Kids
M & M (Mini Methodist) is fellowship designed to meet the growing spiritual, personal and social needs of 4th and 5th graders. M & M Kids meet the first Sunday of every month in the afternoon beginning in September.  

Beat the Heat Ice Cream Craze
On August 17th starting at 12:00 the Children’s Department will host a day of family fun with indoor activities including an inflatable obstacle course & sports combo, crafts, hot dog lunch, ice cream, movies and more. This is an afternoon of fun for all ages to celebrate the summer before the children go back to school.

Advent Festival
The first Sunday in Advent all children gather from 4:00-5:30 to prepare for the Christmas season. At the Festival, children decorate cookies, make crafts, receive rub-on "tattoos", and play a cake walk, among other activities. Following the festival, come to the church-wide potluck and caroling around the church neighborhood for the entire family.
