Young Women's Bible Study

Are you a young woman looking for a place to engage with other young women who are seeking to grow in their journey with Christ? If so, please plan on joining us for a new, on-going Bible study for women in the midst of their child-rearing years. The group provides an opportunity to grow in your faith and receive support from others in your same stage of life.

Our first topic for the group will be the Beatitudes, where Jesus underscores the basic Christian attitudes that we should embrace and cultivate in our lives. The Beatitudes represent life as God meant us to live it. "The Way of Blessedness" from the Companions in Christ series and "When All Else Fails. . . Read the Instructions" by James W. Moore will be the materials used. No prior Bible study or knowledge is needed to participate in this unique group!

Join us on Tuesday mornings, 9:30 to 11:00 am in room B200 beginning September 16. Participants can expect a discussion format and a variety of topics and discussion leaders. Childcare is available with advanced reservation by contacting Robin Woodall at woodall13(at)tx.rr.com or 972-562-8556, ext. 35. Contact Karen Reid, facilitator at 214-202-2011 or kbr(at)karenreid.net for more information.
