Discover FUMC! is a four-week orientation class specially designed for those who are new to First United Methodist Church. You will explore the church's core beliefs and values, learn more about who we are, and discover how you can join the journey along the discipleship pathway.

The class meets for four consecutive Sunday mornings and also includes an opportunity to meet some of the church's leadership, a tour of the facility and how we are using it to share the heart of Christ from the heart of McKinney, and an introduction to some classes and groups that are excellent next steps for newcomers. Some of these include Essential Christianity, The People Called Methodists, and Gifts Plus.

There is time for questions, and if you need some one-on-one discipleship "coaching" to talk more about how you would like to connect, that opportunity is available as well. Discover FUMC! is also the place to learn about church membership and how to join First United Methodist Church.
