At First United Methodist Church, you will find a place to connect, grow, and serve in a Small Group. These groups meet in homes once a week for about 90 minutes to share a time of fellowship, Bible study, caring, and prayer. They are a primary place where Christian community happens in the church family and beyond, and they welcome any visitor, member, or neighbor of FUMC.

We recommend that you visit as many small groups as you need in order to find a good fit. You are not obligated join the groups that you visit. When you find a place to connect, we recommend that you commit to stay with the group for about six weeks, or for the duration of their current study. This will give you the time needed to get a real feel for the group and to begin to build relationships as a group member. After that time, you may recommit and remain with that group or visit others.
