Generations

Generations Meets in C200 @ 10:05 am

Our Mission

Generations seeks God's divine presence, guidance and grace in our spiritual growth of self, family and community through discipleship and fellowship.

Who We Are

We are made up of couples of varying ages, mostly with young and school aged children.  We enjoy studies related to family and worship, Christian living, Bible application to everyday life, and series studies.  We welcome occasional outside speakers and programs but focus primarily on rotating teachers within the class membership.  The curriculum is determined by the class leadership and curriculum team with input from the entire class.  We focus on marriage, parenting and raising children, and enriching our family life, not just one day a week, but through the generations.

Current Study

September 11-25 we will have a parenting series.

Outside of Class

We are a socially active class with many annual traditions, including a fall event, Christmas party, and spring social events.  We have an active supper club group, and most members participate in the church's Parent's Night out monthly get together.  As a class, we participate annually in several mission projects, including:  July Jubilee, Thanksgiving baskets, Habitat for Humanity, Operation Christmas Child, Christmas carolling to shut-ins, and United Methodist Women's auction basket donations.
