Confirmation is an exciting time for sixth grade students and their families. As the students are instructed in the basics of the faith and participate in Sunday morning classes, retreats, service projects and social activities, our hope is that they begin to understand and experience what it means to be loved by God, to live a Christian life and to be involved in the mission of the church.
The confirmation class is held each Sunday morning at 9:00 am in the youth area. There is also an opportunity for parents to study the same topics as the students in a new adult class, known as the Credo class. This class meets at 9:00 am in B205. Visitors and new members are welcome to join either of these classes at any time during the year.
Confirmation culminates at the end of April when students will be given the opportunity to publicly profess their faith and become full members of the church. Our prayer is that this decision represents a new step into a meaningful, committed journey of faith.
