Children

The mission of FUMC’s Children’s Ministry is to gather children in love and help them grow in the Word of God so they will be equipped to go into the world as Disciples of Christ. From Sunday school to preschool to various activities, FUMC is a place where children are loved and valued, a place for children to grow spiritually, physically, mentally and socially. If you have questions about Children’s Ministries at FUMC, please contact the Director of Children’s Ministries, Cheridy Dodd.

Health Safety

Take these everyday steps to protect your health:

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.

Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.  We have hand sanitizer throughout the church and in all of the classrooms.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.

Try to avoid close contact with sick people.

Stay home if you are sick for 7 days after your symptoms begin or until you have been symptom-free for 24 hours, whichever is longer.  Please note that you need to be fever free for 24 hours without the use of medicine. This is to keep from infecting others and spreading the virus further.

Follow public health advice regarding school closures, avoiding crowds and other social distancing measures.
