Our Mission
The mission of the Canafax class is to introduce ourselves and others to the love of Jesus Christ, help each other grow to be more like Him and pass His love to others through personal relationships and outreach mission.
Who We Are
We are a large class of 45-60 year-old members. We mix lecture and enthusiastic discussion; and we use the United Methodist Quarterly Adult Bible Study resources and our own studies. We focus on current family and professional problem-solving with a biblical foundation.
Current Study
Some class members take turns bringing the lesson. Recent studies include a discussion of the book The Shack and the movie trilogy Lord of the Rings.
Outside of Class
We heartily support numerous missions through the ministries of First United Methodist Church including July Jubilee, Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan Inn, Community Food Pantry, Community Health Clinic and Caldwell School. We usually have a Christmas and Fall social gathering.
